1.What is SNAP! entertainment Ltd.?

     SNAP! entertainment Ltd. is a 10 year old, Canadian company that had its humble beginnings in the living room of Tim's house and has now afforded its own warehouse on the border of the up and coming Junction neighbourhood of Toronto. We specialize in the wholesale distribution of Anime (Japanese animation) and Manga (Japanese graphic novels). We also carry alternative press graphic novels, magazines and a sprinkling of model kits and merchandise. (Look to our website for lists of and links to all of our suppliers). We do our best to bring you, the retailer, the largest selection at the best prices with prompt, friendly service.

2. How do I open an account at SNAP! entertainment?
     Retailers may open an account by filling in a retailer application form. These are available by clicking on the ACCOUNT APPLICATION button at the SNAP! website (www.snapanime.com) and downloading the .pdf file or by e-mailing us at info@snapanime.com . If you do not have access to e-mail, you can call us at (416) 588-4006 or toll free (888) 693-9973 and request one faxed or mailed to you. Fax the application back to (416) 516-0581. Once we receive your completed application, you may start purchasing.

3. What are my terms and conditions at SNAP! entertainment?

Terms and Conditions are as follows:

  • 1. New accounts must submit a retailer application form before any business dealings will commence.
  • 2. SNAP! entertainment reserves the right to refuse service to any applicant not meeting our reference standards.
  • 3. All new accounts will be shipped C.O.D. until a steady working relationship is realized and then terms will be given accordingly.
  • 4. There will be a $20.00 charge for all NSF cheques. Accounts will be placed on a cash/certified cheque only basis after the third NSF cheque.
  • 5. Billing and receiving discrepancies must be reported within 7 days.
  • 6. Damages and returns must be cleared with the warehouse before being sent back. Damages will be replaced or credited upon receipt.
  • 7. There is a 5% reshelving fee on all returns excluding damages. There is also an additional 5% charge on product returned in poor condition (i.e.: price tags and glue not removed, torn shrink wrap etc).
  • 8. Account statements will be issued monthly.

4. How do I place an order with SNAP!?

      Orders can be placed with us through either e-mail: orders@snapanime.com or fax (416.516.0581). Monthly catalogues and order forms will be e-mailed to you and can be downloaded from the retailer section of our website (ask for the password when you contact us) or requested by e-mail, snail mail, fax or in your shipment. For prompt order fulfillment please be sure to include your customer number, our product code numbers and specify quantities on your order. A "Shipping This Week" e-mail is sent every Monday, then posted on the website, to let you know what has arrived in our warehouse (bold denoting new product with the remainder being restock). In the retailer section there are inventory lists that get updated regularly to help you choose what back stock to order. All out of stock items will be automatically backordered unless otherwise instructed. A list of current backorders can be generated upon request and e-mailed to you. Accounts are welcome to come to our warehouse and shop in person between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday, Tuesday and Friday. We are closed for shipping on Wednesday and Thursday.

5. Are retailers eligible for volume discounts at SNAP! entertainment?

      Retailers are eligible for a volume discount on every order placed over $500. This includes any monthly catalogue orders. As well, any product that is backordered will maintain its original order discount. See our simple sliding discount below.
$500.00 orders receive a 2% discount
$1,000.00 orders receive a 3% discount
$1,500.00 orders receive a 4% discount
$3,000.00 orders receive a 5% discount

6. Now that I've placed my order with SNAP!, how and when will it ship?
       SNAP! ships everything by CANPAR. We generally receive the bulk of our new product on Mondays when we pick up from our U.S. drop ship point. Tuesdays are usually for sorting and pulling orders. Shipping starts Wednesday afternoon and finishes Thursday afternoon with local deliveries going out on Friday afternoon. Depending on your locale, we try to ship so you will receive your product for the weekend. Shipping is billed the following week. If you have any special shipping needs, contact us before 1:00 pm and we can usually send orders out the same day.

8. Where is SNAP! located?
      The SNAP! warehouse is located at 91 Pelham Ave. Toronto, ON M6N 1A5. We are just east of the Junction and north of Dupont St. (see map below). Our mailing address is SNAP! entertainment Ltd. P.O. Box 99 Station E Toronto, ON M6H 1E4.
